The Raja Laut is a modern version of the 19th century gentleman's yacht. With classic lines and varnished timber interiors, the Raja Laut follows in the wake of similar vessels that undertook journeys of exploration and trade from West to East, notably the schooner 'Royalist' sailed by Sir James Brooke, an inspiration for many an adventure story. In fact the name Raja Laut, Malay for 'King of the Seas', is itself a reference to a Joseph Conrad novel set in the Indonesian Archipelago.
Effortlessly combining style and grace with modern technology, Raja Laut has shared and enjoyed unforgettable moments in Southeast Asia since 2006. Yacht charter journeys with the schooner Raja Laut are unique experiences of remote, beautiful, natural areas. Our private expeditions provide a sense of peace and tranquility, but also a sense of adventure, all the while offering fine dining, comfort and safety.
